    Liselotte Højgaard is Head of Department of Clinical Physiology, Nuclear Medicine & PET, Rigshospitalet and Professor in Medicine and Technology at the University of Copenhagen with clinical responsibility for the education as bioengineer in Medicine and Technology given in collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark, DTU, where she is also adj. professor in advanced imaging.

    Liselotte Højgaard is engaged in research policy in biomedicine at national and international level: she is chair of the EMRC, The European Medical Research Councils at ESF, Strasbourg. Chair of the EU DG Research Health: "Science Advisory Group" and President of Copenhagen Research Forum.

    Liselotte Højgaard is specialist in clinical physiology and nuclear medicine with research in PET scanning for oncology, pediatrics and methodology. 200 peer review publications and 150 other science related articles.
