Name: Charlotte Lund Denholt (e-mail)
Title: MSc.,PhD
• Ph.D., Chemist at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital, Dep. of Clinical Physiology, Nuclear Medicine and PET
• Teacher in chemistry at Copenhagen University
In 2001 I got employed as a radiochemist at Copenhagen University Hospital, Rigshospitalet with the production and QC of [18F]FDG and other rutine PET tracers. In 2005 I started my phd-studies. I defended my thesis entitled: “Development of new radiolabelled PET-ligands for a cancer specific epidermal growth factor receptor and their applications for cancer diagnosis” September 17th 2008. The work contained all the steps from synthesis and development of the peptides, the 18F-labelling, and the in vitro and in vivo studies.
During my Ph.D training I worked 6 monthes in Frédéric Dollés group at at Départment de Recherche Médicale, Orsay, France. I worked with fluorine-18 labelling of peptides and the in vivo studies. In my current position at Rigshospitalet I work as QC lab manager, with the responsibility of all the analytical instruments, validation and maintenance. I also work in our research department, developing new radiotracers.Education:
