Søren Holm is Chief Physicist at Department of Clinical Physiology, Nuclear Medicine and PET, and he is the department’s responsible Medical Physics Expert according to Danish legislation on radiation protection. His current fields of interest are in the development, optimization and pitfalls of hybrid scanning methods (SPECT/CT, PET/CT, and PET/MR), but he is also actively involved in nuclide therapy (existing, Lu-177, Y-90, and planned, Ra-223) regarding dosimetry as well as protection. He has coauthored more than 100 peer-reviewed papers. He is teaching technologists, medical doctors, and students in medical engineering at a regular basis. He recently left the position as president of the Danish Society for Medical Physics, but continue to be involved in its European collaborations as a delegate to EFOMP.
